Cuenca, Ingapirca et Quilotoa
Çà fait beaucoup de “A” tout ça 🙂 Après le Chimborazo, je suis parti en direction de Cuenca, une ville de type colonial dans le sud de l’Equateur.

The highest peak in Ecuador is a 6268m high volcano called Chimborazo. For the last 5 months, climbing it has been an objective for me, a goal that I completed on Tuesday 15th of May at around 5:45 am 🙂
Trujillo, Guayaquil et Riobamba
Ces derniers jours j’ai parcouru pas mal de kilomètres en assez peu de temps, pour finalement arriver en Equateur dans une ville de montagne qui s’appelle Riobamba.
Santa Cruz Trek and Laguna 69 in the Cordillera Blanca
Huaraz is a small city in the Cordillera Blanca in Peru. It is surrounded by a lot of summits, most of them of 6000m high and more! There is a famous 4-days trek called the Santa Cruz trek that I wanted to do there.
Les Lignes de Nazca et Lima
Après mon trek au Salkantay, j’ai pris un bus de nuit pour Nazca, une petite ville perdue au milieu du désert péruvien, célèbre pour le mystère qui entoure l’une des attractions les plus connue du Pérou: Les Lignes de Nazca.
Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu
The Salkantay Trek is a 4 days trek through mountains and jungle to reach the Machu Picchu, that can be visited the 5th day. It’s named after a 6271m high mountain, the Salkantay, which means “The Wild, Invincible Mountain” in Quechua.

Après avoir visité Arequipa et le Canyon de Colca, nous nous sommes dirigé vers Puno, une ville péruvienne au bord du Lac Titicaca.
Arequipa and the Colca Canyon
Arequipa is the second largest city in Peru, and after visiting Cusco we took a flight there. Just like Cusco is named “The Blue City”, Arequipa is “The White City”.
Cusco, le Machu Picchu et la Montagne arc-en-ciel
Cusco est la capitale historique du Pérou, le centre de l’empire Inca, qui s’étendait du Sud de la Colombie jusqu’au centre du Chili. C’est une ville pleine d’histoire, entourée de sites archéologiques et ruines incas rendues mythiques, dont le plus célèbre est la cité du Machu Picchu.
Samaipata and Cochabamba
After visiting Sucre, a quiet colonial city in Bolivia, I headed to Samaipata, a small village in the middle of the jungle, with a tropical climate. I stayed there two days before going to Cochabamba to meet my family, after spending 20 years without seeing them!
